My presentation will walk through the many unique projects that are underway in Forest and Florence Counties to regain sustainable walleye fisheries that have been lost over the past decades. These projects, conducted by WDNR, Mole Lake Fisheries, and different Lake Groups are an attempt to use biomanipulation techniques to bring back fish communities that favor walleye in select waters. Some of these projects have already proven successful, some have struggled to reach their high goals, and some are just beginning.
