For the past two years, DPI and Wisconsin Science Festival partners have been working on a shared science inquiry experience for educators and students to engage in across the state. This focus will continue for the next three years with the goal of K-12 educators and a broad range of other community organizations sharing efforts and resources in a water-themed Siftr hub (https://siftr.org/WisconsinWater/). We invite any group engaging in water education with K-12 students—from a science class testing well water and investigating data over time to a government class discussing water policy and legislation—to join in this collaboration (view project details at: dpi.wi.gov/science/water) Participants in this session will explore ideas for connecting their work with K-12 inquiry-based learning and see how to use the Siftr hub to advance water education.
