2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the EPA approval of with Rock River Basin TMDL. The goal of the TMDL and Rock River Recovery is to restore the designated uses of impaired waters in the 3800 square mile Rock River Basin. Partners across 10 counties in the basin have made remarkable progress in reducing pollutants, using tried and true approaches as well as novel innovations. This presentation will highlight a basin-wide perspective on the Rock River Basin TMDL implementation, noting the Rock River Recovery accomplishments and highlighting some of the remaining challenges
