This presentation will cover the status of American White Pelicans in Wisconsin, Regional and Continental population dynamics in relation to Wisconsin’s breeding population, and factors affecting pelican populations. Participants will gain a greater understanding of this ancient fish-eating birds past and present status and distribution and a better appreciation for understanding how pelicans may be able to adapt to a changing climate.
